Chart of Accounts - What is the "Supplies" expense account used for?

Supplies can be things such as maintenance and cleaning supplies, small tools that your business uses (i.e kitchen utensils or sewing tools) that are not material enough in terms of $ amount to book as a fixed asset, or other miscellaneous supplies that don't specifically fit under the "Office Expense" account.
