Why Your Connected Bank Account May Disconnect

Occasionally, you may find that your bank account disconnects from our app. This inconvenience can occur due to a variety of reasons:

1. Changed login credentials

If the login and password associated with your financial institution have changed, your bank account may disconnect. To solve this, verify your login and password on your bank's website, then go back into the app and try reconnecting your accounts.

2. Required action with your bank

Sometimes, our financial partner, Plaid, can't connect with your bank because a certain action is required on your end. This might involve agreeing to new terms of service or setting up a new security requirement. To resolve these issues, log into your online banking portal and complete the required actions.

3. Technical issues with Plaid

While it's less common, technical difficulties on Plaid's end could cause a disconnect. In such cases, Plaid will be actively working to fix the issue as soon as possible.

If you're having trouble reconnecting, or receive an error message during the process, please take a screenshot of the error and send it to us for further investigation.

Remember, you can always click on the "Reconnect" button in the app to resolve this issue. Reconnecting typically takes less than a minute.
